Where light becomes sculpture

For more than ten years, my research has explored matter, emptiness and light. My hand-woven steel-wire sculptures seek to make visible what normally has no form: memory, presence, inner movement and relationships. Over time, light has ceased to be merely part of the sculpture and has become a space to move through, share and inhabit.

Respiro

In the Respiro series, the body opens to space and becomes an expression of inner movement. The figures, often suspended or caught in gestures of release and openness, seem to defy the weight of matter. Emptiness and light take part in this search for lightness, freedom and transformation.

TRASPARENZE · IN FIORE

Wire, light and transparency.

In the Trasparenze series, matter defines form without imprisoning it. Woven steel wire encounters light, while emptiness becomes the space in which the work breathes.

From light within sculpture to light as a space to inhabit

The exploration of matter, emptiness and light has gradually opened up to places, relationships and the processes through which a work can take shape.
